Step 2
Internal Screening
Our recruitment pre-select the best candidate with relevant experience based on CV, references submitted.
Step 3
Interview Process
You will be called for a face-to-face interview.
Step 4
English Test Process
Final selection is based on the *Technical Interview – Some position require a technical interview with MSC TA Team.
Step 5
Confirmation letter
All selected candidate will receive a confirmation letter from Oceangoers certifying the job selection and documents required in order to embark with MSC Cruises
Step 6
Pre-Embarkation Training
After submission of all required documents, our candidates will attend the pre embarkation training at Oceangoers premises at no cost.
Step 7
Embarkation
After attending the Pre-Embarkation training, all candidates are made available on MSC System. All embarkations are based on requirement onboard and set by MSC Cruises Head Office. Once an embarkation is confirmed, we shall assist with all documentation required until you take off.
Returning Crew Procedure
After completion of a contract with MSC Cruises, the disembarking crew member is set available automatically after two months of rest. Another embarkation schedule shall follow automatically by the MSC Cruises Head Office based on availability onboard

The Technical Interview is scheduled by MSC Cruises talent acquisition team, based on their availability.
The date of Availability will indicate when you will be ready to start. Conversely, the Embarkation date is determined by the Head Office and will be relayed to you by the Crew Management Team.
Once all the necessary documents, including MMR, Varicella, Yellow Fever vaccinations, STCW certificates, Seaman book, and passport, have been compiled, and submitted to the agency then we can set your profile as available for embarkation.
Based on the latest communication, a minimum of two administrations of the Covid Vaccination are acceptable.
MSC Medical is required upon receipt of your embarkation date. You will be notified of this by the Crew Management Department.
Certainly, it is mandatory to provide your latest Certificate of Character.
It is not mandatory to hold a USA Visa in order to embark with MSC Cruises. USA Visa is applicable for specific MSC Vessels, if ever your embarkation is planned on one of those ships, Oceangoers will do needful to process the document required for the visa. The cost of USA Visa should be incurred by the crew member, paid to the embassy directly and once onboard, MSC Cruises will do needful to refund the amount upon presentation of the receipt.
An original marriage certificate will be required in order to be eligible for couple requests. Your request to embark with your husband/wife is subject to approval from MSC Cruises Head office and based on requirement onboard. Oceangoers do not guarantee that all couple request will be granted.
For any fake document submission, immediate termination of your application will occur and will have to wait at least 1 year before reapplying with authentic documentation and your profile shall be reassess by our team.
To form part of the MSC family, a minimum of two years’ experience in the hospitality/tourism sector, along with verifiable prior work history, is required when applying.
The age range spans from 18 to 49 years of age.

Roles that involve direct interaction with passengers on board, such as entertainers, Guest Service Agents (GSAs), and SPA department personnel, among others.
After successfully completing the Technical Interview, you will be required to take a compulsory English test, to validate your position.
